Important Timelines for 2026–27 Residence Applicants
First Year Undergraduate Applicants Eligible for Residence Guarantee (University of Toronto St. George, Mississauga, & Scarborough): Applications for 2026–27 will open on January 16, 2026 at 4:00 PM (ET/Toronto Time). Deadline to indicate an interest in residence via this Portal to maintain eligibility is by March 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM (ET/Toronto Time).
Applicants must also receive and accept an offer of admission to a program at U of T before or by June 2, 2026, at 11:59 PM (ET/Toronto Time) (or earlier if stated on your offer of admission).
School of Graduate Studies (Master's / PhD) and Second-Entry (Dentistry, Information, Law, Medicine, Nursing, & Pharmacy) Applicants at St. George Campus): Graduate residences applications will open on January 22, 2026 at 12:00 PM (ET/Toronto Time). No deadline, apply at your earliest!
St. George Waitlist Applications: Applications will open on March 1, 2026 at 12:00 PM (ET/Toronto Time).
University Family Housing: Applications are open! No opening date or deadlines. Applications will be accepted continuously. Please review the UFH website to determine your eligibility and next steps.
